I am at my wits end. I've been crying all day and don't know where to turn anymore. Looking for people to talk to and help me work through some issues.

My husband just finished a 30 day program and I still feel like I'm walking on eggs shells. He is constantly angry and never satisfied. When is the best time to find people to talk to on here. Going to a meeting is out of the question as I have no transportation and recently lost my job. Being trapped in the house all day is making matters worse.

Hope to here from someone.

We have meetings in the chatroom Monday & Thursday 9pm Eastern time and Saturdays at 8:30pm Eastern. Otherwise anytime after 8pm eastern daily is good to catch up with someone.

I am sorry you are having a hard time, it is common to feel like you are doing the eggshell walk, I think a lot of us have gone through that, just know that there are people to talk to (when you catch up to someone).
Also if there are meetings near you, sometimes there is one main person you can contact that is in charge of the group that can set up a ride should you need one. Face to Face meetings can be very scary at first but very beneficial.

My husband is also my addict, and I totally get the feeling of needing to walk on eggshells. I am in the chat room at least once a day if you are looking for someone to chat with. Sometimes during the day you just need to hang out in there as people do pop in and out as their schedules allow. Jen is also right about the evenings as well as the meeting times. I also have trouble getting to face-to-face meetings, but have found the online meetings to be very convenient and they are held in the same format as the in person meetings (well with a minor adjustments for raising you hand to speak). I often find that the topics relate to exactly the issues I am dealing with. It's actually kinda weird how that happens. You are not alone, and I hope you choose to join the chat community for support 🙂
