Hello, I am new to this and to meeting but unfortunately not new to the addiction and its toll on me. My 20 year old daughter is the addict and is 8 mos. pregnant. I have spent every penny and emotional energy I have to get her the help she needs. Nothing has worked. I never believed in a million years that she would use while pregnant. I am exhausted and have realized that I have no other choice except to let her go and let her suffer the consequences. I have convinced her to enter a 28 day treatment program just to get her clean and pray that my granddaughter will be ok. It is like a bad dream I am waiting to wake up from.
